Position Details:
Job Title: Sr Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Duration: 6M+
Location: Houston,TX
Primary Responsibility
* Design, code, test and implement solutions using Oracle PL/SQL
* Tune SQL and PL/SQL code, database packages and procedures
* Identify application performance areas and recommend tuning of application code as necessary
* Assist in establishing a framework to support future development initiatives.
* Acquire and maintain knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures
* Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional units to ensure quality
* Collaborate with application development teams on schema, index, stored procedure and SQL design
* Contribute to the definition of data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization
* Transform business requirements into logical data models
Skills Required
* Must have 10+ years of experience in software development and database design
* Minimum 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL programming experience
* A blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal communication skills
* Must have enough exposure/knowledge to .NET
* End-to-end SDLC & infrastructure architectures
* Must have ETL, Data architecture, data modeling experience
