I recently purchased a new Samsung A21 5G, and when I use quick launch I get a pop up message at the bottom of the screen says "you just used quick launch to open the camera". I then have to tap the message to make it go away. This seems to happen every time in indoor/darker light, and occasionally outside.
Hello. That notification is only for low budget devices. For example, Galaxy A10s has that notification and you can't avoid it unless you turn off the quick launch. Wait, A21 5G does not exist, is it A22 5G?
I have the same issue on my 512 GB Galaxy S10+, so it's definitely not just a low-end phone issue. It also has nothing to do with the notification system since this is a pop-up message. It appears to be designed to prevent us from using the camera accidentally. The problem is, I never open my camera accidentally. Rather, this pop-up often delays me when I want to snap a picture or video as quickly as possible. It blocks any use of either the volume keys or the touchscreen to snap a picture. It's annoying, and I would really appreciate having a setting to turn this off.
No. You don't understand the issue. It is a pointless pop-up built into the app and happens on every launch. There is no notification setting to eliminate it. It keeps me from getting important night shots every single time I need to use my camera in low light conditions and in situations where that ridiculously long delay while trying to dismiss the pop-up each time so I can simply take a picture like a normal, sensible phone makes me miss the shot. It is the most asinine, idiotic, and ridiculous operating system mistake I have ever seen and since I use my phone for night photography I will need to switch to another phone brand since there is no way to turn off this insane pop-up. Every time I miss important shots. It is completely unacceptable and unprofessional to have it pop up each time with no way to disable it to make it work like a NORMAL phone. Absolutely senseless. Done with this. Will not be buying another samsung phone (especially since the newer models don't even have SD card support!). This was my first and last device from this company. My iphones never did dumb things like this. My next phone will be a another brand I found with all the same features of the S10 like SD card support and minus the poorly designed OS.
@Riniel: I do appreciate that it can be frustrating when a feature doesn't operate as expected, but please refrain from rude and abusive comments. Having applied the setting to my own phone in Settings > Advanced features > Side key > Double press > Quick launch camera, I did not encounter the pop up notification. Can you confirm if your phone is locked when you attempt to use the quick launch feature, or does the notification show up when the device is both locked and unlocked?
You are just straight up wrong and have never handled one of these phones before. My mother's phone started having this "issue" randomly, and I figured out what's going on after 5 minutes. This is a horrible feature that triggers every time the camera is launched from the lockscreen corner or by double-tapping the power button. If the camera detects any sort of low-light environment, (as in not in direct sunlight or pointing at a lamp) then this message is displayed, along with a healthy dose of lag. There is no setting to disable such feature. It is not a notification by the systems own standards, and hitting OK causes a 1/3 chance for the camera to close anyway. Learn your own product before offering technical advice, or at least try to replicate the issue before giving condescending remarks officially
Hi Steve,
Appreciate your help.
The microwave has a child lock button and I tried turning that on and off with no effect. This morning quick start worked normally with the clock displayed, yesterday would only work when Eco Mode was engaged.
I had already twice tried (mentioned in my post) turning off the microwave by unplugging from the wall. I also contacted Samsung chat who advised cleaning the buttons (which arent dirty)
Weirdly the quick start button has been behaving for a while now. Screen sometimes glitches and only displays some of the details but, that is again random.
We will put up with this for a while, as I refuse to pay for a new microwave, while I can get this one to function.
Look for the Apps & Data screen. Then tap Move Data from Android. (If you already finished setup, you need to erase your iOS device and start over. If you don't want to erase, just transfer your content manually.)
Knowing how to quick launch your Samsung Galaxy camera can ensure that you never miss that special moment. Samsung Galaxy phones offer some of the best cameras on any phone available today. That means we always have a great camera with us, but particularly where kids or pets are concerned you may only have a second to capture that perfect photo, so speed counts.
From the lock screen, you are just a quick gesture away from launching the camera on your Samsung Galaxy phone. When the lock screen is active you'll see a small camera icon in the lower-right corner of the display, just place your finger on it and slide up. That's it, you're ready to get snap happy.
When the deployment has finished, the project should automatically start running on your Android device. If the project fails to automatically start, you can start it by finding the App on your device and tapping on it to launch it.
When the install is finished or when the server is run for the first time, a browser will launch and ask you to either sign in or create a new account on the plex.tv website. You will then be asked to accept the terms of service, and the Setup Wizard will start.
The Plex Media Server comes with the Plex Web App, which allows you to control Plex and access your media through any browser. Again, this should launch automatically and start the Setup Wizard when the server is run for the first time.
We suggest, at this point, that you prepare a test folder for each media type, add libraries, and see how it looks in Plex. Try some movies, TV shows, home videos, music, and photos. You can always go back and update the library, delete it, recreate libraries, or start over with a new library.
Tuya Smart Life App SDK for Android supports the comprehensive and flexible development of IoT apps. This tutorial walks you through a few steps to get started with the SDK and develop a preferred IoT app within two hours. You will learn how to implement the following features:
After the pairing process is started, the app continuously broadcasts the pairing data until a device is paired or the process times out. To allow users to cancel or complete pairing during the process, you must call the API method to stop pairing.
The Quick Start Guide provides users with important informationon getting started with their new device. The guide includesinformation on what's in the box, how to get to know the device, how to insert a SIM card, and how to get started with thedevice.
In addition to the camera shortcut (default), the camera can also be started from the lock screen by pressing the function button. To do this, the function (Quick Launch Camera) button must be pressed twice. By default, this function is enabled. If not, it can be activated as shown in this manual.
