I have just surpassed 20 billion in total value for my 27 rows which
also have more than 900 million defenders present. Now I that I am
here I am not sure what is left in this game for me. I am a
programming student so I still enjoy to poke around in the interface
and write small scripts to automate various tasks like money transfers
or buying defenders. But all in all I think I am done playing this
game as obsessively as I have been. Also I honestly think that the
game will end in august when the domain expires. This coupled with
the fact that Jack, the originator, has said that this all started out
as a joke that took on a life of its own for a while. They also seem
to abandoned any further development of the game since moving off of
google app engine.

So I will still poke around here and there but for the most part I am
done with my regular playing of this game. The player who has
accounts under mada, moonbase, meatypig and biba who only seems to
use bots will most likely inherit the #1 spot from me as I step down.
Now I won't feign innocence when it comes to using a bot but it was
mainly to maintain my lead against this guy who has four mega accounts
running everyday. I don't think I have ever seen in the query log any
normal activity from these names. All I see is attacks every 4-6
seconds for hours on end, the sure sign of a bot. The majority of my
total value has come from the way I have positioned my rows and my
play style. Also even though the the daily dumps went offline long
ago I helped develop a script to record all of the rows and dump that
into a MySQL schema to coordinate attacks with. In this manner I have
added as much as 600 million value in a day before. But I have
definitely had fun and continue to learn as I have played this game.

I will still play occasionally I think until the game goes dark but
for the most part I am done.

Cheers, everyone.

Congrats on the achievement. I'm in exactly the same boat as you. Well
I started "not playing obsessively" a while back. I check back every
so often to move money around and buy new rows.

Here are the logs that I have gathered (mostly Shard 3)
http://exiledcode.ca/mysqlgame/dumps/

It was fun while it lasted.
