Hi, I inherited maintanence on two amazon cloud servers. They need updating/migration from ubuntu 9.04 to 10.04 and are running mysql 5.1? in a master to master replication mode. I not sure how what is the best way to to do this since they (the servers) are 'instance stores' and you can't just shut them down (for backup and recovery). The mysql db's are on an attached EBS volume. For example if something goes wrong how do I revert back. The update process is really simple but my experience is that something always goes wrong.
