I have NItroPro 11 (tho it still shows up as 10 on my windows computer) - the whiteout function was working well but has suddenly started having faults when selecting text from with a shaded 'box' in a document - it still works properly elsewhere in the same document, it is only in shaded background areas the problem appears. It has not had this problem in previous documents from the same source, with the same shading

If the risk of someone copying the signature is not acceptable for you, your only other option is to switch to certificate-based security, which does not have this issue. Here's details on this feature: -security/
I've tried QuickSign on the current version, and some previous ones. The message doesn't show up anymore on recent versions, but otherwise everything seems to work the same- you click the QuickSign button, click where you want to sign, and you're good.
In Nitro 11, if you want to resize the signature or see the Apply button, you need to click Undo or press CRTL-Z. Once you do that, you can resize the signature and see the Apply button, which you can click.
I recommend that you repair your Nitro Pro. Please reboot your computer before and after running this repair to ensure that there are no ties to Nitro still active in the background. You may refer to this article:
-Is this a new issue or has it occurred since after installing Nitro Pro? Any changes you are aware of before this happened (e.g. Windows Updates)?
-Build of Nitro Pro are you working with. You can find this out by clicking on 'About Nitro Pro' under the Help tab (format is 12.X.X.X, e.g. 12.0.0.112) or you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
Thanks Alain. Your suggestion worked. However now I have a new problem. Every time I open a new document with my Nitro Pro 12 I receive a warning 401 error. This started 3 days ago after most recent Windows 10 update. If I ignore the error the document opens and everything seems to be fine. Any suggestions?
2. Clear the content of the directory under C:\users\your_username\Appdata\local\temp. For whatever reason, not all temp files automatically remove themselves and is NOT usually caused by Nitro Pro files. Kindly note Appdata folder is hidden and to unhide it, please refer to this article -see-the-appdata-folder/
NOTE: This clean-up tool will erase any existing signature files within Nitro so please save them to another location before using the clean-up tool in order to keep them. Please see this link for backing up custom stamps/signatures:
4. Clear all your downloads folder or delete all downloaded Nitro installers. This step is important because we noticed that if you are saving all the installers and you download them in the same folder (like the downloads folder), the EXE can pick up any MSI installer in that folder and you may pick-up one of the older builds instead of the newly downloaded package.
The touchpad was working fine with Ubuntu 21.10. Yesterday I updated using apt-get, and there was some kernel update and related packages. I said 'y' and updated them. After restart, the touchpad stopped working. Not only in Ubuntu but also on Windows (Its a Dual Boot system). Then I searched for solution, did not find any. I went to the Acer support site and tried to download the latest drivers and install them. There was a disclaimer at the support site, that I need to install the I/O Serial Driver first before updating the Touchpad driver else touchpad will stop working. I tried to install the Chipset driver (which includes the I/O driver, I guess), and I got 'Installation failure' (tried it twice), so I left the process. Do anyone observe this touchpad issue also? Can someone tell me what I should do now. My Ubuntu is already having NVIDIA driver 495.
I got the touchpad working. It is nothing to do with the driver for the touchpad. The function key 'F2' in Acer Nitro 5 is a toggle switch to disable/enable the touchpad. I am so embarrassed to post this answer (but since I was trying to fix this for 3 to 4 hours in vain, thought someone in my situation can save time looking for a fix like me) and I am quite surprised though on how the toggle works across the OS --remember I told I was using Dual Boot system.
Hi Caeleni! That is not what we like to hear. First, we want to make sure that your new laptop is running on Windows 10 and not Windows 11. Also, we want to make sure that your new laptop has the latest link compatibility, to see please click here.

Was this ever resolved? Just bought it today and I'm getting ready to return it. Already gave it a 1 star on Best Buy. I have literally spent the last 5 hours troubleshooting and NOTHING has managed to stop the perpetual 3 dot loading screen when I launch to my PC. The Occulus app on PC clearly shows the device, even shows all the battery life in the Devices tab, but when I try to connect it won't do it.
Easily one of the worst experiences I've had out of the box with a new electronic device.
I should add my Acer Nitro has a 3070 and Windows 10. Seems similar to original poster.
I have an acer nitro with a 3060 and windows 10 and it works. But only with the drivers for the graphics card that are on the Acer site. When I tried the latest drivers from nvidia it stoped working (white dots) and I had to go back to the older drivers.
Hello,
I have about the same problem with my workstation (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45-R90 U) unable to open the oculus application or if it opens it works very badly with or without Lynk cable.
For info, everything works very well if my station is connected to additional screens (via a Lenovo docking station)
We see you got yourself an impressive rig going on! So we definitely want to make sure you're all up to speed and in perfect VR condition. However, there may be an internal error that we just can't see from our end, here in social support. This doesn't mean we can't help, this just means we'll have to collaborate with our main support channel so we can dive a little further in the deep in and take a look at those internals. Our next move is to gather some LOG information and get you in touch with said support channel.
As well, you can get in touch with that most awesome support here: Once you provide them all that beautiful information, we can take an in-depth look and see what's going on. We'll get you back in peak performance in no time!
Do you guys plan on fixing this issue with laptops using on-board GPU's? Airlink isn't recognizing the main GPU in any laptops with on-board GPU's. It's only reading the integrated graphics. This is why people can't get airlink to work on Laptops.
Confirming the issue, if disable on-board GPU, it works, otherwise airlink endlessly shows three dots. All connection requirements are met. In Oculus logs (in folder "OculusClientLogs" specifically), I see message:

I want to be very clear: I am pro e-collar. I use them; I recommend them. However, my view is that they should not be introduced until after obedience has been taught and is solid on leash. The way I use that is that I overlay e-collars onto established obedience to get dogs off leash and able to work at a distance.
Many low-stim trainers start dogs off on e-collars instead of teaching obedience through leash and a training collar. (I use prong collars.) They will argue that e-collar pressure is no different than leash pressure, or that an e-collar correction is no different than a prong correction. However, based on my experience, this is simply not correct. I have never once met a dog whose general demeanor was improved by the application of an e-collar stim, unlike a prong collar. (See my article Why I Use Prong Collars on Every Dog for more details.)
Dogs are highly variable; some will have a very low working level while others will be higher. But you also have to keep in mind that a working level in your driveway without any distractions is not going to be the same working level as when your dog starts bolting after a cat.
This is a big problem with low-stim training; it blurs the line between not being aversive or anything more than a minor annoyance and what is straight up punishment. This can be very confusing to the dog.
In all good training, there is a push-pull between the dog and the handler, which helps dictate where the dog is and how they move. We accomplish this partially through the use of pressure. There are many types of pressure. Leash pressure is one. Spatial pressure (using your body) is another. Or social pressure (wanting to be with you). And yes, e-collar pressure is a type of pressure too.
If you're not going to provide any description of what you are experiencing related to what exactly is not loading or what is not working there is absolutely nothing we can do other than to tell you to wait a little bit or try a different browser.
I have a question? I was given SL nitro for extreme chest pressure I have been having. If it doesn't relieve the pressure does that means it may not be cardiac? I have taken up to 3 while in the ER and it did nothing to help. Any thoughts?
