Academy Game Schedules and Rosters for Saturday, Oct. 27

Hi all!

Attached are the game schedules and rosters for this Saturday's date with Greensboro.  Greensboro was only able to get each team one game (that is for all teams at this play date).  I highlighted our team's game in yellow.

The games are at Bryan Park Soccer Complex.  The address is:

6105 Townsend Road

Browns Summit, NC 27214

We will be wearing our blue jerseys, blue shorts and white socks.  Please make sure to have your yellow jersey in case we need to change.  Be ready to start warm-ups at least 30 minutes before the game.  Especially since it is one game, being on time to warm-ups is very important!

Just wanted to clarify that our MYSA Sky Blue plays at 12:30pm (not 9am - there is a Greensboro team named "U9 Sky Blue FC).  All our MYSA games are highlighted in the yellow.

Hi all!

Just wanted to send a last few notes on tomorrow's games in Greensboro.  Attached are the schedules and rosters again.  I have also attached the field map so you know where each field is.

The address of the complex is below:

I think they have some other things going on at the park so here are the notes from their facility manager:

Parking will be tight so carpool as much as possible.

Parking attendants will be present to help assist parking/traffic flow.  Please follow their direction.

Overflow lot will be across the street (fields 14-16)

Do not park along Southshore Rd. next to the train tracks as it's a towaway zone.

Bathrooms located in the building and Portalets next to field 18

Sideline tents must be anchored at least 5 yard from the field. 

Athletic Trainer will be under the tent in the middle of the annex. 

Hopefully the fields are okay for us to get these games in.  If weather is an issue, I will send a message out via email as soon as I know anything.

All,

Just wanted to send an update on tomorrow as I just talked with Greensboro Director.  They will be making a call in the morning around 7am.  The good part is that if there grass fields are unplayable, then we will move to turf fields if those are playable (depending on how much rain, the turf fields could be flooded as well).  But I think we have a good chance of playing tomorrow with having the turf fields as back up.

If we do end up on the turf fields, the location is different (and closer for us).  If moved to turf it will be at the Smith Complex right off of I40 near Four Seasons Mall at the address below:

Unfortunately both the grass fields and turf fields in Greensboro are unplayable so all Academy games are cancelled today.
