How does MyRocks TTL behave on null columns?

to MyRocks - RocksDB storage engine for MySQL

I want to set a TTL for rows, but not based on the creation time. I want the TTL to start after I mark a null timestamp field as complete. Will that work as expected?

I'm running Percona Server 8.0.13.
