to MyRocks - RocksDB storage engine for MySQL
Hi all,

I see that RocksDB supports encryption at rest (https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb/commit/51778612c9cf4cb842eed10f270ec0ed29ff22f1), is there an equivalent capability in any flavor of MyRocks (FB, MariaDB or Percona)?

Thanks

No, there isn't.

As far as I understand, both MariaDB and Percona Server support data-at-rest encryption for InnoDB, binlogs, etc. So tasks like encryption key setup and management are already taken care of. It should not be too hard to make MyRocks use these encryption keys, but nobody has done it so far.
