Dear Vishy Sir,

We at The Alternative are organising a 'Camp Unstoppable' for 10-15 year old's in the city on water and waste management which will be starting on April 28th onwards.

This is an opportunity for children to understand grassroot realities of lack clean drinking water and waste recycling importance with an objective to see how they can be solution providers to low income communities in the city.

It would be wonderful if you could spread the word about this interactive sustainability programme amongst your friends and circles.

Thank you very much,

Best regards,
Kavya

This summer, what if your child could go beyond?

Camp Unstoppable is a week-long summer program designed to give children a chance to build a better world through ideas and solutions that are entirely their own.

Using a design thinking approach, children take up real grassroots issues and work on processes that lead to a solution – observing, discussing, reflecting, creating and finally, putting into action. Children get to interact with changemakers, creative thinkers, entrepreneurs, communities and more and get guidance through the entire process of developing solutions. Besides helping children realise the power of their ideas to bring about change, the camp inherently builds soft skills, from building empathy to holistic understanding of a problem, team work, prototyping and  more.

Children also get a chance to present their ideas and reflections in creative ways, from photography to art, presentation and writing.

Camp 1 from April 28-May 3rd, focuses on the challenge of delivering clean drinking water in low-income communities.

Camp 2 from May 12-May 17 focuses on building a system to effectively recycle the waste generated in cities.

Dates: Apr 28-May 3/May 12-May 17
Venue: Rococo House, Rest House Road
Fee per child: Rs. 3000
