mypw with php for complete idiots?

hi, I've been looking at this mypw stuff and think it's the solution
for a large number of my security concerns but to me the
documentation isn't making it really clear what things I'm meant to
ask for from the user logging in etc.. if anyone could give me some
pointers that would be great.. even if you can point me to some
documentation that I haven't been able to find yet.. I'm currently
making use of the pear auth package so any pointers as to how to get
the 2 working together would be great as well..
