can't download episodes

This is probably something obvious but I can't figure it out.

I have loaded 2 feeds in MyPod V1 > Load feed > get a list of episodes > press on one > then what?
   I thought I should press on the white arrow in the red circle at upper right but it takes me to Downloads, nothing to download.
or
   press on white arrow in green circle at bottom > Edit feed > then what?

The manual is very weak in helping here and I see no similar FAQs.

for v1 a red download icon should appear to right of the title if there is something to download.
