Hi and thanks for a great app!

I do however miss one feature, I often listen to podcast when I go to
sleep and thus it would be great to have a "Sleep timer" that stops
the playback after a number of minutes.

Otherwise if someone has a tip for a alternative/additional app that
can solve this issue it would be highly appreciated..

(I've tried "SleepTimer" and that one works for Google Listen but not
MyPOD) :/

Thanks!

The sleep timer  is the feature I miss most.

A different approach would be to be flexible on the player. Using Google Play Music and Sleeptimer solves the problem.

In fact ot would be a better solution in some aspects since when the mobile is locked I still can access control  to Google Play Music without unlocking the phone. The same I cannot do with the embedded player of MyPOD

I could not follow your guidelines.

I went to

download files

then I was forced to select one by one (if I am not mistaken) since the general selection options are:

Mark listened
Unmark listened

There is no option

Mark unlistened

Then I got stuck...

I could not find how to select "options"

nor how to launch external players

Now I noticed that I can do that ONE BY ONE  which it is not quite convenient.

BTW I felt the a similar problem when I entered a podcast with a lot of old casts and I wanted to download them all at once... I did lots of workarounds to do that and I could download all the 100 files but sincerely I do not know how to repeat the process!!

A simple option such as

Download all (including old)

would be very useful.

I love it MyPOD. It is the way i like , but even me that I am a front end linux user for decades got stuck with the interface.

I still do not feel secure to recommend it to my daughter :)

About the widget locker... you are talking about this one :

WidgetLocker Lockscreen
TeslaCoil Software

HI,

you can use downloaed files >(select file)>options>launch external to use external players.

I am currently re-writing the app, so it should make it in there in the first or second iteration as it has been heavily requested.

thanks for the feedback

also there is an app called 'widget locker' if you would like to use the widget on the lock screen in the interim.

thanks for the feedback

Add me to the request for a sleep timer. It needs s setting for
minutes/hours and if set it just quits when time is reached. Even a
one hour would work. Other podcadters have this option. So important
for bedtime listeners

Please add me to the sleep time request also.
