In response to Peter's post.

I have stated 2 times or more I do not care to meet at OPW.

Sherry has said so as well.

I do not remember the term"autocracy" being used ever.

If many of us at the last meeting did not appreciate the 3 minute dinger

hanging over us and beeping and beeping and stated so as a request

for more open and relaxed facilitation at a last meeting to be--

 is NO reason to berate us and make us( who simply state how we felt at the

time) do our "homework" like naughty rude children.

I take exception to that tone.

One half of your post Peter was dedicated to criticizing everyone of the members

in one way or another.  

And , Yes, Peter, as the facilitator, you Can be criticized.  

We have to be free to think and feel and express what is alive in us

at any meeting.  You are not immune and I am not either.  

What we have to share with each other should Not be censored 

because you feel we are not thinking properly.

I am a bit confused about the * asterisked paragraphs.

who are the "people" or "persons" you allude to?

I feel personally as if this letter sets the tone for the next meeting

as automatically confrontational. Bam right from the get go.

I was hoping the last meeting would evolve its own agenda and we

could each bring nice soft pillows and have a big room to meet discuss then to have a pillow

fight and conclude with a puppy pile.  that is therpeautic, fun and lets off steam.

I wish you had shared your information about OPW with MpP.  Trust was missing.

Maybe we intuited that as a group.  Telling us at this late date is not honoring

our strength as a group or as just plain friends and supporters. 

I wish personally you would have told MyPP that its activities were way beyond the

scope of your staff and organization and we should look elsewhere for venue,etc.

I  am feeling Guilty about Carrie being overworked and OPW going under.

Right now I am feeling after your post--our legacy to OPW was to run it into the

ground and just about casue it to fail.

I feel as if I need to apologize for our behavior, our honest opinions, our dissent,

our taking up too much of your time and most of all for creating great confusion

and hurt for you.

Having said that, at this point I am sorry to have this"guilt" as a heritage of  the MyPP.

It will always be the shadow in the otherwise bright spot for me.
