sorry to delay the response.  I wrote I had to leave to go to Leonard Cohen Concert in Portland.

Well to keep this light I can not tell you how warm lovely

jazzy and excellent a performance it was!!!  Rose Gdn Theater of the Clouds

and that was true- we were in heaven with that man. Home at 12:30 am-- so late to get going on news today.

I was not speaking in legal rights terms, Tim.

I have belonged to little clubs in the past that had

put together funds for projects and we always had

a treasurers report of some sort regularly to see what we

could carry on with or what we could expect to do with what we had.

I do belong to Healing Journeys 501-c3. And, as a board member

yes we got reg. reports of finances on paper and in email and I do mean

regualrly.  If a interested person at large wanted to see the financial stetement

the Treasure ponied up so to speak.  It was always up to date and every

detail accounted by and for.  It is the law.

we are not a legal entity.no. 

However that does not change the  need for accounting and good business

sense and heads -ever.

I dont' need to OK OPW spending at this point.  I do have a need to know

where all monies were posted and how they were spent (only MyPeace raised money)

That is good business and not at all asking for something Illegal or out of SOP.

I dont want unused funds myself. I do not speak for others who may have concerns in that area.

My "passion" is always comes from seaking the truth.

I have only met one board member, Mark.

How in the heck  would I or we (as a group)e know what the board ever desired or cared about.

The Board never spoke to us or about us or for us or with us. 

It is accounting simply and cleanly.  That is a more than reasonable request I am sure.

Committees of which you were a great part,Tim, raised money in the name of a MyPeaceProject

and may we see what was donated and what we spent?!  Yes, we may (and not by law) but by

resonable expectations of how organizations run and continue to operate.

Yes, I agree I would like to hear more from  Carrie and the others for sure!

Especially as you say, Tim--key players.

It is critical to any continuance that we get the whole picture to make furthur assesments.

we had such great ideas as we went along that got put out verbally and never written down and for

that I am eternally sad they weren't recorded. 

Now, just thinking--I have a little envelope with receipts to claim my re-embursement for my project.

I will be paid based upon my proper submission for book keeping purposes.  I expected that and kept my receipts

and labeled e.
