Can't connect

This should be pretty basic but can't figure it out. Debug log below, I can't see a clue of why there is no connection. Is there more logging that can be enabled?

Bump. Any thoughts on how I might try to debug this? I am not seeing any "Socket.IO connected" or "Socket.IO disconnected" messages, but the connection must be failing somewhere.

Any thoughts much appreciated indeed.
