my.openhab - Home empty after login

to my.openHAB

Hello!

Just started with openHAB and my.openhab.org.

If I login, I only get an empty home screen. I can access my classic GUI by appending /openhap.app?sitemap=sitemapname, but isn´t the home screen supposed to show the GUI?

Could not find anything in the docs for that.

I am using openHAB 1.7.0.

No, it isn’t, as there isn’t „the GUI“ - some people use the Classic UI, others GreenT or SmartVisu.

But I agree that an empty home screen is a bit weird; maybe this could be enhanced to something like the openHAB 2 dashboard (http://demo.openhab.org:9080/start/index) or to have some other valuable information on it.

Thank you for the quick reply. Makes sense that there is no fixed UI on the home screen, but I am really looking forward to openHAB 2 (not an option for me at the moment, as I am using the unofficial RWE smart home binding)

I hope this will soon be contributed and become an official binding! And there should be no reason why it couldn’t work with openHAB 2.

Hope so, too. I think it will help openHAB tremendously in the german market, as RWE really seems to stagnate in their development of the platform (Hardware and Software-wise).
