my.openhab doesn't connect

Hi,

i followed the my.openhab setup instructions for an existing (updated 1.4 -> 1.7) installation and even with a fresh 1.7 installation with only my.openhab addon and according configurations it is not connecting. I'm using a ubuntu 15.04 vm with a "direct" lan connection, calling the (also https) website of openhab is no problem. It never shows "online" in the openhab portal. Connecting locally (webinterface and ios app) is no problem. Some time ago i ran openhab on hardware (died) which could connect in the (nearly same) same environment.

The problem is the same if:

-openhab gets an exposed host in the router settings

-changing the security settings back to default (commenting out "security:netmask=x" and "security:option=EXTERNAL" )

-a combination of above

and

-rebooting os/ restarting app

some what's going wrong? some idea to debug further? Or why the logs with uuid and secret are listed twice?

May be some other issue but following line indicate that openHAB is unable to connect to internet:

calling the my.openhab website is ok with firefox by the same user running openhab. fetching weatherdata from yahoo within openhab is also no problem.. so it seems a "basic" connection to the Internet is made. 

Maybe an issue with ssl / virtual direct connected adapter? my local connections via webbrowser are not encrypted, how the ios app connects i don't know.. i'll try to wireshark a little

but nevertheless thanks for your suggestion :)

found some ssl/tls errors (client rejecting server certificate as far as i understood)
