Hi guys, its great news about the ifttt integration.
I would like to figure how would I send a command to an item , as in whats the systax to use...
For example , I have a color item for the milight
I use rules to set the desired color for scene using
sendCommand (miLiving_color,"160,100,100")
But what command would I send if i want ifttt to trigger that ?
or set item to a certain value for scene control... ?

Hi Alex,

Well, the command syntax is exactly the same as anywhere else in openHAB, so you should simply send 160,100,100 to your item. Doesn’t this work?

Regards,
Kai

Hi Kai

I have tried that, but to be honest none of the commands incl TOGGLE for the DO button have any effect .
the my.openhab interface works fine, but any command coming from ifttt seems to be ignored ( no effect both on interface directly or thru my.openhab )
it seems that ifttt commands dont even get to my.openhab correctly....
there is nothing in debug log or event log either....
any suggestions?

I just tried the same and also have the problem that the commands do not get through to my openHAB instance.

@Victor, can you help? What is the best way to debug this?

Cheers,
Kai

Still seems not working... is there anything I could do?
Should we just wait or this functionality just doesnt work?

Sorry to keep you waiting - but waiting is the right thing to do as Victor is currently analysing the issue and I hope he comes back with feedback very soon.

Thanks for your patience!

Hi,

Ok, so just for the record. We found out Alex was running an old version of my.openHAB bundle. Sending commands back to openHAB from my.openHAB (which is needed for 2-way IFTTT integration) is only supported starting from version 1.7.0.

Best regards,
Victor Belov
