If you were at Magfest, you may remember the dreaded black screen that
prevented us from showing you the demo there. This was actually
caused by memory errors*, which is also the reason the character you
play in the demo is a VERY poorly drawn stick figure instead of just a
poorly drawn animated sprite. Along these lines, please remember that
the demo isn't actually a very good indication of the final game - all
the art is placeholder, done by either me or, in the case of the stick
figure, our code-monkey James. The rather pitiful story and setting,
while related to the game world, is not actually part of the game, and
the puzzles took me about two seconds to think up. So, in essence,
this is more of an early test of our engine and tools than a showoff
demo like you'll see for most commercial games.
Speaking of badly drawn art, we need artists! If you or anyone you
know is interested in doing concept or in game pixel art for us,
please let us know, we'd love to talk to you! Also, if you have any
questions or comments, please email us at lightso...@gmail.com.

To Download:
Go to this page:
http://groups.google.com/group/myndell/files
And right-click "ScriptDemo.nds", choose Save-As, and wait for the
download to finish. Easy!
To Play:
To play the demo via emulation, we recommend using DeSmuME, found
here:
http://www.desmume.com/
Simply download the proper version and, after installing, open up the
"ScriptDemo.nds" file.
To play the demo on your DS is more complicated. We use the PassCard,
which looks like this:
http://www.discochip.com/tienda/catalog/product_info.php/currency/USD/products_id/485/language/GB/
and the GBA Movie player pictured here:
http://www.yoho-games.com/Nintendo_DS/TV_Movie_Player/_GBA_NDS_Movie_Player_(compatible_with_GBA_GBA_SP_GBM)/10725/product.aspx
This setup is fairly easy to install, but requires a CompactFlash card
to use(and a way to get files from your computer onto the CF card,
i.e. a media reader). A good installation guide for the GBA Movie
Player(the PassCard doesn't need to be configured) can be found here:
http://www.ndshb.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=26
Happy playing, and we hope you enjoy the demo! Our next update will
probably be the unveiling of our website, which is in progress as I
type(well, technically not, since I'm the one supposed to be making
it).
