The commandline mode launches a myna thread in a private jvm outside of winstone/tomcat etc. It doesn't have access to any servlet functions but those don't make sense from the commandline anyway. It also does not launch the cluster manager, so none of the cluster functions will work.

Once processing is complete any output generated is sent to standard out and the jvm is shut down.
