Distress Email - Education - Dasheeny

There is a family of three in dire state in Penang whom direly need our help to enroll her daughter, Dasheeny to University Utara Malaysia. 

Dasheeny completed her Diploma in Marketing from Polytecnique Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah with CGPA of 3.57. Yesterday she received an offer letter to study degree in Law in University Utara Malaysia. She was accepted in the 2nd intake after she filed for appeal as her first application was rejected. She has been told to report on 28 August 2016 (in 3 days time!). Due to financial difficulties, she unable to arrange the needed funds and in extreme desperation. She had seeked help from individuals to borrow money however she had not received any positive feedback. 

Dasheeny's father left the family when she was small and since then only the mother supported her and her sister. The mother raised two of them by working with her sewing machine day and night. She earns around RM800 monthly. Recently her health condition is said to be deteriorated significantly and due to this the mother is on constant medical reference. They live in Dasheeny's late grand father's house hence they do not have house rental expenses. The Satya Sai Baba Centre contributes a packet of rice each month to ease their grocery expenses.

Dasheeny aiming to apply for PTPTN loan. Mogan devised an assistance program as below to attend to her immediate needs for the next 6 months.

1) University course and registration fees - Urgent – Deadline – 28-8-2016

RM 2032 

2. To support food and other expenses at university for the next 6 months

RM 300 X 6 months : RM 1800

3. To support miscellanous expenses like bus transport cost to university, clothes, shoe, bed sheet and other essential item to be used in university 

RM 1000 

Total : RM 4832
