TheMIND of Champions 2013 (MOC’13)

In continuing our efforts to raise the level of education, opportunities and awareness among Malaysian Indians, The Malaysian Indian Educational Development (TheMIND) Association are committed to organize for the first time a programme entitled “TheMIND of Champions”. This programme aims to showcase the success story of towering Malaysian Indians. 

Date : 14/12/13
Venue: Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Time : 1.00 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.

To kick off this programme, we are privileged to have Tan Sri Dr. Mani Jegathesan and Mr. Ramasamy K Veeran as the inaugural speakers of TheMIND of Champions 2013 (MOC’13). Tan Sri Dr. Mani Jegathesan holds a unique and powerful combination of being a distinguished doctor/scientist and sportsman. Mr. Ramasamy K Veeran, Managing Director of Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd, is a young and upcoming champion in the corporate world. Through this programme, we aim to create enlightened youths who will promote excellence within the Indian community so as to contribute significantly to nation building and to develop a caring community to ensure our community’s success under the Malaysian sun. 

TheMIND Award will also be presented on this day to the undergraduates with outstanding achievement in their undergraduate studies in the recently concluded application window. TheMIND Award is established by TheMIND Association to foster academic advancement and to promote academic excellence among Indian undergraduate students at institutions of higher learning. This award is for students who have achieved exceptional academic goals with active involvement in extra co-curriculum activities and have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and participation in community-based support programs.

Target Group
300 Indian youths (Comprising working professionals and University/College/School students)

Programme Fee
Participants will be charged a nominal commitment fee
• RM30.00 for Students
• RM60.00 for Young professionals and others

Deadline for Registration: 10 December 13 (Extended). Limited seats available.
