myMedia fails to connect to server, fails to find favicon

Issue #1
I am currently unable to connect to my home server via MyMedia. no
matter how many times I manually enter the correct ip and port,
MyMedia inserts a ".1" between the ip and the port designation.
Issue #2
Yesterday I had myMedia connected to the server, but the channel would
not read the icons for the media folders. In trying to mitigate this
problem I reinstalled my
Media channel, PIL libraries, netguy, etc. And now it won't keep the
ip I supply to the MyMedia server settings.
Has anyone experienced this and come across a solution?
