Hi All,

A couple of months back I discovered Mylyn and Remember the Milk and
subsequently this place.

I was upset to learn that development had kind of stopped. Knowing
java and recently learning about eclipse plugins I decided to see if I
could contribute to this open source project. Cees set me up with
access and I began development.

I upgraded the code to be compatible with Mylyn 3.0. In doing so I
think I undid some of the stuff that Cees did in his first batch of
development, so some of the features that might have existed
previously don't any more. Install it, use it and give me some
feedback. Log issues.

For now I'm going to host the update site on my personal webspace, as
one of the jars is too big to be checked in with google code.

Update Site:
http://mylynrtm.gamerism.com/

Features:
Query tasks using completed status, task list or name contents.
Create and edit tasks.
Currently editable:
- task name
- priority
- status
- containing list

kertap -

Can't thank you enough for picking up the torch and continuing
development of this plugin!

I was able to successfully install and use the plugin on Galileo.
Ganymede gave me some trouble, but I suspect a dependency or
something.

I was able to create a repository to my rtm account, create a query
for a task list, get the tasks listed there, update a task description
with mylyn and see the changes back in rtm.

The setup dialog was fine, but the verify button didn't seem to do
anything. Is it supposed to?

You said that not everything was working... what are your plans for
future development? I plan on replacing the 'local' repository with
the rtm one, with my myriad different work locations feeding tasks to
rtm either with different tags, or sync'ing with different lists - I
haven't decided yet.

Once again, thanks! I plan on making this plugin a daily, integral
part of my development work.

Keep it up!
- Mark

I attempted to configure mylyn-rtm at work, and the 'Click here to
begin authorization' button is unresponsive. I suspect network-
blocking rules preventing communication with rtm, but is there any way
I can see (or to find the log, if it already exists) the true reason
for the failure?

This is with galileo on Windows. My personal instance (galileo on
ubuntu) worked without error.

Thanks

Hi Mark,

The error is probably getting logged to a system out some where. I'll
see if I can get the sign up page to work with eclipse's proxy
settings or I'll add a proxy host/port field in to the set up page.

The verify button may no longer be needed. I better check in to that.

As for the future I've added some issues on the google code site,
others are doing the same.

Fixing those up will probably be the next priority.

I'm hoping that what gets fixed will be feedback driven. :)
