So I have created an account with textmarks.com that will allow me to
send unlimited text messages from my cpu and expand my quote list to
as big as I want it. The only problem is that I will only be able to
use 105 of the 160 text spaces, and it will say "Powered by
textmarks.com" at the bottom.

1. Should I start sending my quotes using this service?
2. If my quotes have ads at the bottom would they lose their appeal?
3. When my quotes are two texts long do they lose some effectiveness?

That's quite the dilemma you're stuck in, Mr. "Cooleman" ;) haha. It
would be nice for you to get a bigger amount of recipients for your
quotes of the day, but between the ad and your signature, your
messages will be even shorter. I'm fine with multiple texts. The only
downside is that sometimes they get sent out of order because of the
traffic that's on cellular systems. Whatever your decision is whether
it be sent the old fashioned way through the phone or through the
computer, I'll still be subscribed to your mailing list =)

I agree with Mr. White, whatever you decide, I will fully support. :)

RL why are you switching? Are you thinking about changing your phone
plane? What are the pro's and cons. I see the con in the ads. What
is good about going through this new website? Do you get paid?

No I will still have the same phone plan.  The reason I would switch to this is because I could then have unlimited people get my quotes.  Right now I text it to 64 people but I am afraid to add more because it will just take more and more time to send them out.

Try it out and see what people think. If you get good feedback from
it, then continue doing it. If not, then either switch back to using
the phone or try finding an alternative solution =)

So I don't think I'm going to do it.  I tested out sending a 3 text long quote to myself, and every one had an ad talking about "rhianna news"  and the website to find more about it.  I think it takes too much away from the quote.  So unless I find another way... or I win the lottery.  I guess I'm stuck with just texting them myself.
