I love the new custom views on the iPhone (and can't wait to have the same on the iPad). However, I'm finding that the tasks don't appear in the same sort order as they do on the desktop. For example, I have one view where the tasks are grouped by Project and 'Descending' is selected in the group by dialogue. Actually, there seems to be a bug in the desktop version here because I have to choose 'descending' to get the projects in alphabetical order. Choosing 'ascending' sorts the projects in reverse alphabetical order. But on the iPod (I'm using an iPod Touch) the projects are listed in the reverse order to the order that they appear on the desktop. Within the project groups, the custom view is set to sort tasks in ascending order by Next Review date, and this is implemented correctly on the desktop. However, on the iPod, tasks without a review date appear in the same order as on the desktop, but tasks that do have a review date appear in alphabetical order rather than review date order.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I am using version 4.2.2 on Windows 7 and version 2.5.0 on an iPod Touch running iOS 7.0.4.
with best wishes
Claire.

Hello Claire,

1) The By Project groups are sorted by Importance of the project and then (if Importance is equal) alphabetically. So "Descending" related to Importance and works as expected on Desktop.
On iPhone, however, there is a bug and it will be fixed.

2) I can confirm the issue with sorting by Next Review Date on iPhone. It will be also fixed.

Thanks for reporting the issues with the custom views! I really appreciate it. The feature is very sophisticated and your report will help us to find all missed things faster :-)

Andrey.
