MLO freezing when checking off/updating tasks

I just upgraded to 4.4.2 and every since I have, whenever I check a task complete or do anything to update a task, the program freezes for a few seconds, then becomes active again? Any thoughts? I'm not currently syncing and the file is on a local drive.

A few thoughts:

Do you have huge notes added to your tasks?

Have you used many self-created icons?

Have you tried to export and import tasks to a new blank profile? Is the problem still there?

How many tasks do you have in your profile?

If nothing helps try to reinstall the app.

Be sure to back up your ml file.
