A very standard feature, that I have not yet found in MLO, is to rearrange the tasks using CTRL+ARROWS. That is, to move something up, I select a task, hit ctrl+up and it moves up. For small changes in the outline, this is much faster than using ctrl+m. How can I do that with MLO? Dragging with the mouse is not an option.

Jacob, you will find these and many other shortcuts on page 78 of the Users Guide, available for download from the MLO website.

Also, use alt+shift+arrow to move tasks left and right (child/parent)

I knew about alt+shift+arrows. But it's a weird combo for me. I want to do it easier. I can customize a lot of the hotkeys, but for some reason, not this one.

You're right, and like you would, I'd like to be able to customize every shortcut, without that annoying "conflict with xxx" .

It is the key combination that the MS Office suite uses (for example: a little known fact is that you can use Alt+Shft+Up/Down to move paragaphs up and down).

Wow, thanks Richard! I didn't know about that MS Office shortcut. I've been doing that the longhand way all this time.
