Hello,

I'm using a shared file because I work with my wife. So when I create my tasks, I assign my Flag, and when I create her tasks, I assign her flag. Taks to be done by both of us have no flag.

Problem: when I open MLO on my ipod, I have all my tasks and her tasks.

How could I avoid that ?

Flags are not available in the mobile versions (as yet at least).  You could use contexts instead?

Yes, I guess I can do that :)
Thanks for the tip.

I forgot to ask... How do you display only the tasks of a given context on a mobile version ?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can view active contexts.. But then you could miss some of the 'non' active ones...

Thanks but... I don't know what "active contexts" are, and how to view them.
Could you please give me some details ?
Thanks!

I don’t know how much of this translated to ipod, but on Android you can bring up a view called “active by context” that shows all of your active tasks grouped by context. Once you are in that view you can hit the MENU button and select “filter by context” and then you can pick which context you want displayed and which you want hidden.

I’m not sure what Mark meant by active contexts but it might have been about closed contexts. On Windows you can bring up the Manage Contexts window (F8) then select a context and click on the Hours tab. You can set what hours each context is open or closed. The choices include “Always Open” and “Always closed”. Once set on Windows the schedule will sync to mobile. Usually MLO will not display a task if all of its contexts are closed, although there are overrides.

I meant exactly how Dwight said it... Just was not with device to remind me of the correct term....BUT I suspect its not 100% of what you need because my understanding is the task needs to be Active - i.e. ready to be started, and there might be tasks in your list that have a start date in future for example that would not show up.  If however, your only concerned with tasks that can be acted upon right now - then it should work well enough for you.
