Windows MLO5 Freezing temporarily after each interaction

Hey, all--

I'm a really, really long-time user of MLO, but I was away from it for a while.

I recently came back and went through the upgrade to 5, upgraded my Android app, etc.

I resurrected one of my files that, on 4, worked perfectly, although I will admit that it's a kind of complex file (lots of views, custom icons, workspaces, etc.). File size is 120Kb and it now has a mere 252 tasks (48 completed). It doesn't have any embedded images or documents, just a good number of custom icons.

It appears perfectly fine in MLO 5, except any time I interact with it (like check a task complete)-- often, it's the second interaction-- MLO begins 'Not Responding". This lasts for 30 seconds or even more-- I haven't timed it.

Then it will come back like nothing happened.

I'm clear that it's something to do with this file, as when I create a new file, it doesn't do this.

I've already autoarchived, etc., but I'm not sure what could be causing the freeze-- even right-clicking to open a menu can freeze it, where I haven't even asked it to do anything.

On the technical side, I've looked in Task Manager's details and I don't see excess CPU or any changes to Working Mem, so it's... like... just stuck.
