Thanks.

I've been able to Sync a subset of my MLO tasks (Errands) to Toodledo,
using Microsoft Outlook as an intermediary. That is, I sync from MLO
to Outlook and then sync Outlook to Toodledo. The good thing about
this is that it can be made fully automatic. Both MLO-Outlook and
Outlook-Toodledo sync can be set to run at regular intervals.

The sync's not perfect. If you have more than one MLO context on a
task, only the first one will be stored in Toodledo. But it's a
reasonable interim measure that allows me to use the Toodledo iPhone
app to manage my Errands, until the MLO iPhone app makes its
appearance.

A direct sync or import/export with Toodledoo would be terrific. MLO has been a tremendous help in organizing my work life, but I don't have Outlook at home, and I've got hundreds of home-based tasks in Toodledoo. Awhile back, I did try to export the Toodledoo tasks both as spreadsheet and XML, but MLO 3.01 didn't import either very well. I suspect it's a little late to get this into v3.5, but perhaps down the road some?

Count one more vote for this idea / suggestion and for Google Tasks integration / sync.

I'd like to say that toodledo is in MANY way superior to MLO,,, as
much as it suck.

it has locations and a freaking rudimentary calendar.
web access everywhere, cost much less. ECT ECT ...
paid for MLO + iphone app but I'm not using it.

I agree, I've switched to Toodledo as UI on iPad was already there and
desktop UI is better. I'm happy to switch back at some stage but there
are very good alternatives out there.

I agree that for a phone, an online only web app makes sense.  I just don't think you need and from all the syncing complaints from the phone guys even want local MLO data on the phones.

It is for the desktop, laptops and tablets that having the data local makes sense.  Until HTML5 becomes fully established I still think you need an application like MLO to keep your data local.

I also switched to toodledo as most of the platforms are covered (ios,
android, webos, web, twitter etc..), cloud synch and web UI.

+1 for MLO synching with toodledo
