Windows Standard CTRL+BACKSPACE hotkey fails to work, inserts odd character instead

Greetings,

Title said it all... if you're in a line of editable text, in an action (the Notes field appears to work just fine...), and try to use the CTRL+BACKSPACE key to remove the last word, some odd block (literally) of text is inserted.

CTRL+Arrows seems to work fine for navigations, but CTRL+BACKSPACE doesn't fall into line as expected...

Still digging 4.0...

I'll just add that the most troublesome case for me is rapid entry window (the main field).

Still broken in 5.x

As said ctrl+backspace should remove entire word.

I believe it is possible to make a workaround hax for that using AutoHotkey but that's not the way how bugs should be fixed by the customers 😉 Should be working out of the box just like in regular Windows textboxes.

I am using (Ctrl+Shift) + ArrowLeft to select the last words(s). Then Backspace to delete it.

Give it a try.
