I would like the option to change date displays from absolute (Mon, Jan 17) to relative (...-5 days .... -1 day, today, +1 day ..... +31 days.....) format. My brain doesn't handle absolute dates, I need the time dimension to be linked with current moment to understand it. Could this be made possible via some settings toggle? This should not affect calendar display of course, it should be applied when it comes to displaying dates in the lists / widgets.

There is a way to do this presently, I believe.

Go into:
Tools->Options
Then select:
Themes and Formatting
Then click:
Data and Time Format...
Then (and here's the secret bit). Click
Advanced tab
Play around with the settings in there. Inserting R into the date format will give you a relative date (e.g., nnn days ago)

I think you can get it to what you're looking for.

OK, thanks, that would be great!

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention, I'm using the MLO4 for Android, while you're talking about desktop version I presume. I didn't find a way to do this on droid.
