Genaration a common list from many project

All my project include a set of folder with Design, drawings, material and planning. Is there a way to generate or add all the materials items in my material folder list or note to a common list somewhere? So when i'm are ready to go in town to buy the material for my projects i don't have to check in all my project to build my buying list. Hope i'm clear.
