MLO no longer works on linux/wine

I have run MLO on my Arch Linux laptop with wine for more than one
year. This week, I tried to upgrade from 3.5.9 to 3.6.1.

Unfortunately, 3.6.1 simply hangs on wine and does not work,
regardless of what I try. Any ideas?

Same here. Maybe it's because of the newly added Unicode supported which can't be correctly handled by Wine (and/or a compiler change).

FWIW, I filed a fairly detailed support request on this issue a week ago. No reports back as of now, but I’m confident that something will happen soon.

Same problem here on Kubuntu 10.04 32bit and Kubuntu 11.10 64bit.

I can't get it to run under Crossover on Mac either.

Have the same problem on Ubuntu 11.10. I do not know the reason but
hope this will be solved in the nearest future.

I can't get it to work with latest Ubuntu running Unity. Paid version
of 3.6.1 running under wine 1.3.28. Would love an update please!

I made it work by downloading MLO 3.5.9 instead - that still works.
