Hi all,

I am now with MLO for about almost 3 years and absolutely like the boost in productivity I gained by it.
I meanwhile got a quite powerful MLO setup. It is based on different lists by "status flags" from which I build my "daily list" from.

Tasks I don't want to do I simply shift via hotkey to tomorrow or 4 days, 2 weeks... depending on the time period I want to defer the entry.

Unfortunately this behaviour conflicts with the default option of "inherit parent dates" turned on... or at least prevents me from building up a real hierarchy.

Example if I would use child tasks:
- Task 1 starts 5th Aug
-- Task 1.1 starts 5th of Aug
-- Task 1.2 starts 8th of Aug

In my To-Do list I see Task 1 and Task 1.1 shown today as they are active since 5th of August. If I decide to shift Task 1.1 for example 2 days, Task 1.1 will disappear from my list, coming back on 7th. BUT if I shift Task 1 it will disapperar AS WELL AS Task 1.1 as Task 1.1 by default has the "inherit parent dates" turned on so its start date is affected by its parent start date - an option I don't want to have that way!

So - is there a possibility to have  "inherit parent dates" turned OFF by default? Doing that manually for each (new) entry is not possible/comfortable at all.
And: how do you others see this issue? Do you have other solutions or don't you use some kind of task deferring by the start date?

Thanks in advance.
