Judging from previous experience with MLO releases, the new version
will be very well conceived, bug-free and very intuitive to use, but
as this is a major concept redesign, I would genuinely be surprised
(although very pleased) if this saw the light of day in 2012..

I was thinking it was going to be a lot shorter than that since the mention of beta testers was brought up by Andrey earlier but the truth is, even though this may be the case, I want him to make it a good  one so it's worth the wait. Don't want him pulling MLO out of the oven before it's done, you know.  ;P

Looking at changelog, it seems the last feature other than cloud/sync related was "2010-04-09 version 3.5.1  feature: file properties showing simple statistics for created, completed, modified etc tasks. Click menu File->Properties."

MLO must be perfect for most but many are still waiting for that calendar.
