I haven't heard of this one before.Sounds annoying. Anyone have ideas?
Just moved my installation of MLO to a new pc (v 3.6 or similar). Have been an mlo user for 3+ years. Immediately began getting error message coming up every 5 minutes or so that "Could not archive" and stated that archive path is invalid. When i went to File/Archive, sure enough, it is trying to save to the old file location. so i change it by using the Browse button, find a location on the new local machine, click OK, check to see that the location path is in the field as expected, click ok. All seems to be ok, but 5 minutes later (and every 5 minutes thereafter), i still get the error message. The new file path (to the local hard drive) is still in place, and it clearly exists as i can see a series of archive files that i typed in residing there. Upgraded this morning to V 4.0.0.2012 RC-3 which made no difference.
Nothing turned up in this forum when i typed in "could not archive". any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That screen with the ‘browse” button in it that John found in File>Archive can also be found in Tools>Options>AutoArchive. I wonder if changes get saved more effectively from the Options menu than from File. Just a shot in the dark . . .
