How can I lock the column size

I would like to know how to lock the column size in a workspace.

I have 3 workspaces or tabs open, when I switch from one tab to another then come back to the first tab

the column size that I adjusted to show the whole task has slid back over and I can only see part of the task.

How can I lock the column so that it will stay?

Right-click on one of the column headings (not the one with the View name, but any other column) .

Un-check "Auto Resizing" at the bottom of the list. Does that give the behavior that you want?
