How do I successfully create a filter that will show all tasks from all folders within a primary folder.

For example, I have a main folder titled Work.  In this folder, I have several projects, tasks, and even sub folders.

I don't want to see the hierarchy, but just the tasks that I can work on next.  I know I can specify folder names for each folder present in the Setup, but is there a way to search for all tasks within a folder without using a hierarchy view?

How about this:
Crit 1: Top Level Folder=Work
Crit 2: Start date<=Now
Crit 3: IsFolder=False

Yes? No? Maybe?
