Which encryption algorithm is used for MLO data files?

Hi there,

the new MLO 4.0 RC offers password protection for files. This is great! I wonder whether I could leave the MLO files on non-encrypted media. Which algorithm and what key strength is used for the MLO password protection? Thank you!
