Hello Dan,
Please try to restart your iPhone. If after the restart Cloud sync still doesn't work, please create a new sync profile on iPhone, connect it to the MLO Cloud and select 'sync'. Please let me know the result. Thank you!

Hi

I have the Desktop version of MLO, an iPhone version and an iPad version, as well as Cloud Sync.

For some reason, while the Desktop version will sync to the Cloud and from the cloud to the iPhone, it refuses to sync the other way. I have bidirectional syncing turned on, but no items added or edited from the iPhone are updated.

My iPad will sync in both directions with new items added on the iPad also being synced to the Desktop as well as to the iPhone

In short, it looks like

Cloud to Desktop = OK
Desktop to Cloud = OK
Cloud to iPad = OK
iPad to Cloud = OK
Cloud to iPhone = OK
iPhone to Cloud = NOT WORKING

Any ideas on what might be going wrong with the sync from iPhone to cloud and how I might troubleshoot this?

Thanks,

Dan

I have a similar problem:

Desktop : Using vers 3.6.3
iPad: using vers 1.4.3

- I can sync from Desktop to Cloud
- I can sync from Cloud to iPad
- Sync from iPad to Cloud seems to happen without error messages in the iPad software ... but ... when I then later sync from Clud to Desktop, none of the changes come through to the Desktop.

Based on your reply here I disconnected the iPad software from the Cloud service and then reconnected it but the problem remains.

Thanks,

Jeremy.

Hello Jeremy,
Please try to recreate the same error using the new test desktop file with a couple test tasks, new Cloud profile and new iPad sync profile.
If the error is reproducible, please send to

these files, list of actions done, expected result and result received. Thank you!

Hi,

I did the following:

- Created a new MLO file on the desktop PC, added two tasks with a date and some text notes
- Synced this to a  new file on the cloud
- Created a new profile on the iPad app and synced it to the new cloud file

I am now  able to get items to sync happily between the desktop PC and iPad via the cloud.

So, the question is then, how do I get my previous data file to sync correctly ?

It appears that new tasks I add to the old desktop PC file get synced through the cloud to the iPad but not the other way round

I have the latest version of my tasks on the iPad so wish to get them now back to my PC and thereafter have it sync correctly each time.

Thanks,

Jeremy.

Hi again,

I think I have now managed to get it working :-

- I used the PC version to create a new cloud file
- I used the iPad to sync everything into this file
- I synced back to my PC and everything synced OK
- I saved the to do list in a new MLO file on my PC
- I have tested syncing between PC to iPad and back and it seems to now work.

Jeremy.
