I have MLO on my Android phone, an iPod Touch, and an iPad Mini. Unfortunately, when I did a sync with my phone yesterday, I lost everything on the phone. If I go into settings (on phone) I am signed in with password and I tested connection. It was fine. It shows my Cloud file with the proper name.

I am choosing Re-synchronize and choosing YES to the warning. Scary! Done! And fast! (Too fast.)

I go back and synchronize with my Cloud file and nothing happens. MLO on Android is empty. (Well it has 4 files, but normally has over 3,000.

I'm fearing that the cloud is empty. I do have fairly recent copies on an iPod and iPad Mini. I'm worried that if I try and sync one of those, I'll lose everything on it also.

Please help? Many thanks!  Maren

Hi, Maren. I would recommend that you make a new cloud file and sync your good copies to it right away, and then use that to re-establish new good copies on any device that,s been compromised. Sorry, but I can.t offer any ideas about how or why this happened to you, you should ask MLO support. I only know how to do this on Windows, so I hope that you have a copy of mlo for windows. Here are the steps I would recommend.

1. Back up your windows profile. Exit MLO and use Windows Explorer to make a copy of the *.ml file where your profile is stored.

2. create a new cloud file.
 - on windows/mlo enter file>synchronization>edit>browse to bring up a list of your current cloud file(s) and the count of items in each. Here, you can check if the cloud file is really empty. But I would recommend going to a new file evenif the current file looks good, because we know that there is *something* wrong
 - click "new" and type in a new file name. then click OK. you should now see a list of files including the new one, the old one and maybe others. make sure that the new one (with the zero task count) gets highlighted then click OK or Close till you get back to your task list.

3. sync your windows mlo. if there are error messages about how you are changing your sync, say ok. Now your new cloud file should have all of your tasks.

4. now sync the  new file with your three devices. If you think that any of them might have updates that are more current than what's on Windows do them first. I don't know how to do it on the ipod or ipad but on android you would hit the menu button, the sync>mlocloud>cloudfile and select the new file. However, because your profile on the phone is suspect I would suggest starting by making a new cloud file first: tap the MyLifeOrganized header at the MLO home screen the select <create new>
