An idea: A workplace that flashes when there is items in it!?

Just an idea!

A have, besides others, workspace tags called <today>, and then <this week>, and <next actions>.

the idea is to complete <today's> actions before adressing the other tags. The problem is that, within <today>, actions appear depending if they have open or closed context at a particular time.

So I would like an option that indicates to me that there is <new> items in the <today> tag in that moment of time...and that would be possible perhaps by a tag that is flashing when new actions are in <today>.

Does that make sense?
