I always get the too many tasks error.  I am not deleting my tasks.  You can set it not to remind for 30 days.  Mine still works fine with the error notice.  Mine got messed up because I didn't use it for awhile but all I had to do was create a new profile on the app and it was up and running again in a few minutes and has been working fine since on the new profile.
