Date format change not visible

I registered the pro version yesterday and tried to change the date
from american format M/d/yyy to German format
dd/mm/yyyy. I saved the changes, but they do not become visible. My
regional settings are Germany and I also tried to close and restart
the software, but nothing seems to work. What else can I try?

I have a similar problem with date format.

My PC Windows is set to UK English. The settings in MLO say d/M/yyyy.

Some tasks are in American format (8/17/2011 2:40 PM) and some are
correct 24hour format dd/mm/yyyy hh;mm

I can't see any logic.

How can I fix this?

Could you please list all the places in mlo with incorrect and correct
format or even better to send the screenshots?

I had a similar issue with some dates persisiting to use American
formatting, whilst everything else on my PC was set to Australian
formatting. Finally found the solution courtesy of another posting ,
which advised:

" However, I decided to make certain there was nothing wrong so set
them
to USA format, restarted the PC, set them back to UK format,
restarted
the PC, and now the formats in MLO look right. The things you have
to
do to persuade Windows that you really do want something...! "

I tried that method and it worked for me also. Suggest you give it a
try.
