Hi, Lifer
There are many task list managers available for less. MLO has functionality in many areas that goes far beyond what’s available (or even better, what works) in the less expensive products. If you need any of the advanced features MLO is the right choice.
I don’t know how many users there are on Windows or iPhone/iPad, but Google Play says that there are 100,00-500,00 users on Android
Yes, development is under way for Windows with a major 4.0 release in the works. There’s no information that I know of, yet, regarding when 4.0 will be released or what upgrade cost if any there will be.

Thanks for the info - yeah, I hate to buy it now, only to have to pay for an upgrade when it comes out ;-)Thanks again!

Hi, Brienne. The Pro version of MLO for Android gives you access to some advanced functionality, like creating recurrent tasks, the nearby and projects views, etc. The free version is totally usable and you can sync with your desktop for free using wifi sync.
When you first download MLO to your phone you start a trial period in which you can use the pro features for free. The trial lasts a limited time, I don’t remember how long (maybe a month) but it shows you how long you have left and gives reminders as the end gets close. During the trial, the free Pro features are flagged so you should notice when you use them. If, during the trial, you discover that the Pro features are useful to you and are worth the cost, you should buy a Pro license. If you don’t, at the end of the trial period the pro features will be disabled, but the free features are powerful enough that MLO on the phone remains a usable and useful tool.
