MLO App not verified

When I try to synch MLO with Google calendar, I receive an error saying that the app is not verified by Google and won't let me proceed. I do have "less secure app access" turned on. What else can I do?

Google announced new security protections to reduce risk from unverified apps. While we are getting MLO verified, you can proceed by clicking on 'advanced', and then going to 'proceed anyway'. It means that you are trusting the code to do what it is supposed to do.

There's no option to do so or, I would've done so long ago.
