Greetings,

Not sure if I changed something with the file, or if something changed with the most recent builds, but the scenario is this:

1) I have (2) tabs. The first tab is the master outline, the second tab is today's actions filtered out of the master outline.
2) On the today's actions tab, I expand the view so I can see everything on deck for the day.
3) I go back to the master outline tab, then clean stuff up and collapse so it's all neat and tidy.
4) I go back over to the today's actions tab and all action items are now collapsed.

Is there some setting or filter that I'm missing or accidentally enabled/disabled? I've been running this way for some time and as of 4.20 (now 4.2.1) it's been behaving this way...

Thanks for any suggestions!

Cheers,
C.

So... maybe this is working as designed?

If so, any workarounds that anybody might be able to offer?

Hi, C.
When you talk about collapsing stuff in step 3, I assume that you are talking about collapsing subtasks into their parent in a hierarchical view. Most users would not see this collapsed view reflected in a view of today's actions, because most to-do lists are not hierarchical and therefore cannot be collapsed. Try setting the hierarchy filter to "No".

Right on the nose, Thank You Kindly!

Grouping by Parent brings back some structure to the view....

Thanks!

Also, I been noticing recently that when you create a workspace out of the previous work space, there are things that are linked. If you truly wanted a hierarchical view that did not follow your all tasks view, try creating it from scratch. (Unfortunately I don't have time to test at the moment)
