Like this new feature but...
No matter what views I select it alway lists the completed tasks in the dashboard, even if they are "turned off" in the chosen view.  Does this mean i must physically move all completed task out of each folder so there are not completed tasks in it at all (whether or not they are turned on)???

When i create a new dashboard, what view and workspace is it referenced to?  It does NOT seem to be tied to the workspace i was on when i created the dashboard.  The views are different in teh dashboard than in the workspace.  For example, completed tasks show whether or not i have them turned on in the workspace view.

Hmmm…. You may have a bug, since I’ve had no problem removing completed tasks.  If you can, can you try adding “Complete=False” to the Advanced Filter, to see whether that removes completed from the Dashboard as well. Obviously, make sure you’ve got the same view in both places.  Apologies if this is obvious, but “Hide completed” only applies to the view you check it off on; it’s not global.

I have the same problem and the advanced filter trick didn't do anything for me.
I've since rolled back to MLO5.  I'll take another look at MLO6 later on.  Hopefully the features will get sorted out.

For those doing this rollback, you will need to set a new archive directory because it will have become MLO6 only.

for me it takes what ever i define as a view and works as in the normal view - non-dashboard.
For some bucks i can happily help out with :
- technical advisory - how to use MLO for getting MLO ;)
- methodical advisory - how to "construct the shortest path to WOW" in getting MLO by MLO
;)

I have the same problem. In the Dashboard view, completed tasks are shown no matter what I have chosen in the normal view. And there seems to be no possibility to turn it off. This is very disappointing, as the dashboard view now is completely useless to me.

as stated - if you are using views which have completed tasks excluded - the completed tasks should be excluded...
at least that is how it works for me..

now.. dashboard works with views that are saved - based on my observation.
simply open a view and the dashboard and do some experiments.
if wanted i can offer some advisory related to MLO usage / methods to implement.. - just ping in case.

No, it doesn't work for me. I always use the view "hide completed tasks", but the dashboard shows all the completed ones and it can't be turned off. Really annoying.

As stated:
a) just tested the behavior - works as described - you can display or filter in the same way as in pure views. Reason - views are displayed - including showing / not-showing completed tasks
    GUARANTEED  ;)
b) i am offering help for some bucks if appreciated ;)
happy weekend -Alexander

Create a custom View in the left-side Views panel.

In the Filter settings of the newly created View item, check the 'add advanced' option under 'advanced' and add a rule through 'setup' for 'complete is false'.

Select the view you just created in the dashboard. Now, the 'complete' item should not be visible.
